Experience & Technology
The production is a primary crepe, processed directly on the machine. The trim is 220 cm, adjustable according to different production requirements.
Through so many years of accumulated experience, we have been able to obtain various products, with elongations reaching 180%, weighing 35 to 350 gr. The production machines have been made in such a way so as not to stretch crepe papers. The water used for production, taken directly from owned springs, has hardly any salt, which allows the manufacture of paper used for electrical purposes without any kind of technical treatment. Paper is manufactured in different thickness using special presses. The production technologies allow:
- The coil cut in bands from 18 mm, with diameters up to 95 cm and internal diameters of 20 – 30 – 60 – 70 – 76 – 155 – 200 mm, or any desired;
- The coil cut in sheets up to 200 cm and in strips;
Research end Development
Cartiera di Nebbiuno has often innovated its technologies allowing the use of paper, instead of less ecological products. The research activity on the possible applications of the products, on the technologies and on the equipment, allow to follow the development of the markets and the needs of the customers. More and more sophisticated machines allow specific controls and a quality that was unthinkable just a few years ago, placing the Company at the top of the sector in Europe.
Particular attention is paid by the Company to the use of recycled materials and to the containment of air emissions and wastewater discharges, in order to fulfill its social function which aims not only at technological development but also at the preservation of the environment.
